My name is Janine Villars, I am a self taught artist. I give all glory to God for everything good in my life, my husband, 3 children, 1 grandchild and of course my art. 

      I paint mostly in watercolors, acrylics and gouache. I also will be offering online classes for children and adults.

     I have always loved drawing but I didn't start painting until I was 28. I took an oil painting class and painted a New Orleans patio scene.   I knew right away that I loved painting! 

     Over the years I have taught myself to paint murals, hand lettering, acrylics on canvas and wood, with paintbrush and pallet knife, watercolors, gouache, pencil and pastels.  I love all forms of art, I love learning something new.  I taught in a small class in my home and I taught k-12 art in a small Christian school for 2 years.  I have sold pallet signs, watercolor cards and acrylic paintings on canvas. I have sold online and in crafts shows and markets on and off for the past several years. 

      I have recently decided to get more serious about my art business and take it to the next level. I have lots of ideas and I'm so excited to offer them to you soon!
